When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile image (if provided via social login). If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store your credit card details.

Feedback Data

When end users submit feedback through your embedded widget, we collect the feedback content, email address (if provided), page URL, browser and device information, and any file attachments. This data is stored on your behalf and you are the data controller.

Usage Data

We automatically collect standard log data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used to operate and improve the Service.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process transactions and manage your subscription
  • Provide AI-powered feedback analysis (summaries, sentiment, categorization, priority scoring)

4. AI Processing

Feedback content may be processed by AI models to provide summaries, sentiment analysis, categorization, priority scoring, and suggested replies. This processing is done solely to provide features to you. We do not use your feedback data to train AI models. AI-generated analysis is provided as suggestions and should not be treated as definitive.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing
  • AI providers — for feedback analysis features (content only, no personal identifiers)
  • Infrastructure providers — for hosting and file storage
  • Email providers — for transactional emails

We may also disclose data if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Feedback data is retained until you delete it or close your account. Upon account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

If you enable a public feedback board or roadmap, the feedback content and vote counts displayed on those pages are visible to anyone with the link. Email addresses of feedback submitters are never displayed publicly.

10. Widget Data Collection

The FeedbackBasket widget embedded on your website collects feedback content, optional email, page URL, and basic device information (browser, OS, screen size). The widget does not use cookies or track users across sites. As the site owner embedding the widget, you are responsible for informing your users about this data collection in your own privacy policy.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
